  • Organisations, which manage knowledge systematically, would have competitive advantage. In this respect, some factors like collecting, saving, using and sharing knowledge should be subjected under consideration. The main objective of the present research is to examine the knowledge leadership in a global economy. Empirical study was performed on managers of Research Hospitals, who were known with their success in producing and using knowledge. Included in the empirical investigation were hospital managers, managerial assistants, head nurses and assistant head nurses of Afyon Kocatepe University, Isparta Süleyman Demirel University, Konya Selçuk University, Kütahya Dumlupınar University and Eskişehir Osmangazi University hospitals. The results revealed a positive effect of knowledge leadership on productivity.
