- In the article there have been showed the descript_ion, typology and the history of user-generated content and four chosen Open Source CMS, such as Joomla!, TYPO3, Wordpress and Moodle have been presented. Joomla! and TYPO3 systems differ in the degree of complication but they both can be used to building internet and intranet websites. WordPress is a tool intended to keep weblogs, e.g. librarians or libraries and Moodle is a package devoted to creating e-learning courses conducted by the Internet. In the article there has been pointed out the functionality of each system, that widens the spectrum of services and the possibilities offered by library website.
