- The article respond the issues of unambiguous and globally persistent identification of persons (including ETD authors, ETD advisors and referees) or corporate bodies. The Czech editors of national ETD metadata standard (EVSKP-MS, v. 1.1) and other related standards met these issues too - with open solution in this moment. The author refers to limits in using national authority records files in library domain in this context (the Czech Republic and in abroad), to selected solutions of unambiguous identification of scientific articles authors in some commercial services, and especially to interesting and perspective solutions of persistent identifiers assigning to authors of digital contents in some open accessible digital archives.
