- This communication reflects the experience of the Popular Library “República Argentina” No 3707 (BPRA) of Cordoba throughout two years counting from the design of its Web site, and including the institutional impact of the Web site and the experience of inviting other popular libraries to participate in a collective afford with the intention to form a collaborative virtual network. This work includes a recognition of the difficulties that arise from the application of the information and communication technologies and some strategies to contribute to the diminution of the “Digital Divide”. It finalizes with a concrete proposal of transference of this collective micro-experience to a wider audience.
