- A search for details of Kannada books on Internet would leave you disappointed. Reasons being that neither publishers nor authors post details of their books on Internet. Few publishers who post list of books do not assign suitable keywords and metadata to enable first grade search engines to index these websites. None of the publishers/bodies, academies and government organizations have put their complete list of collection on the net. Few sites like granthasampada.com attempts to do so but with lots of anomalies. British library and Library of Congress set an example in this regard by providing systematic details and list of Kannada books and probably large number of Kannada books can be seen on these sites compared to any Indian site including National Library.
