- In the last ten years the cataloging is subjected to deep changes by effect of the information technology. The international consensus on bibliographic entries (Conference of Paris, 1961), the standardization bibliographic description (Meeting of Copenhague, 1969), the functional requeriments of bibliographic records (Conference of Toronto, 1997), the updating and maintenance of the AACR2 (Conference of Washington, 2000), and the new assessment of control authority (Conference of Florence, 2003) have been achieved.
