- In this paper we analyze a bibliometric analysis of the journal Ciência da Informação, one of the publications with more visibility in the field of the library and information science of Brazil. This study is carried out with an eye toward the quantification of a series of indicators that configure a panorama of the scientific production registered during the period 2000-2004 settling down. Among the elements to be analyzed find: responsibility, author citation and sources, production and half life of the references.
