- In accordance to global trends in library information activities, the academic libraries of the Novi Sad University (NSU) tend to integrate their work in order to meet efficiently and successfully the requirements set by a reformed university. The analysis has followed the readiness of the NSU academic libraries to be included into new trends of library and information profession. The results of the analysis indicate that the library and information infrastructure of the NSU academic libraries is of a good quality, but also that there are great differences among them in staff holdings, hardware and software. This situation can make their integration and development difficult.
