- In this study, we show some characteristics of the scientific collaboration in the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV). The study is based in available data on journal articles and conference papers from ISI and other databases (nationals and internationals), in a period of time from 1973 to 2001. The results show how the scientific collaboration and the visibility are directly related. The same occur in the case of the institutional cooperation.
