- This study makes a compilation of those activities of the teaching staff of a LIS Department during the years 2001-2003 that cannot be classified specifically as teaching or publication of articles referring to research activities, but to other activities of expertise. The data, classified in groups according to sections, are being compared with the teaching activity. The main conclusion is that the teaching staff takes part in a group of important professional activities that require quite a time, something that can explain a fewer contribution in articles concerning researching activities.
