- It offers, as a news article format, the most excellent news coverage of the "Ceremony of the rewarding of the Certificate to Quality ISO 9002" to the "Raul Rangel Frias" University Library (BURRF), from the Nuevo Leon Autonomous University (UANL), Mexico. This event took place on October 12, 2000. It is important to emphasize that the BURRF was the first library in Mexico and Latin America in obtaining this certifying standard from the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the third at worldwide level. There is a special mention to the processes designed and implemented by UANL-BURRF in order to obtain this certification of quality are highlighted, as well as the participants of the Committee Quality, and the processes of services that were certified.
