- The digital institutional archive Unitn-eprints, containing research outputs by the academic community of the University of Trento, was born in 2002. In this paper we analyze some usage results and statistics, as well as the impact a free software and open access data provider can have on an academic community, especially as far as citation indexes and copyright issues are concerned.
