- This presentations shows how the original open source software EPrints was personalized and improved in order to become “Unitn-eprints”, the institutional repository of the Universty of Trento, Italy. Future personalizations will be presented, aimed to promote interoperability of the software with the insitutional research evaluation tool of the Universty of Trento (POLARiS), with the national software used by CIVR for VTR 2001-2003, and with citation analysis softwares. The enhancement of the technical qualities of a repository, as well as the extension of its disciplinary coverage, will be discussed in view of its possible use in research evaluation and assessment workflows.
