  • Information in management is called data which is used in decision making. The information needed in management is the totatly of meaningful data, which, for an organization, displays its own activities, and which can be saved, processed, modified and most important, which can be reported to executives and other ranks in a organization. The collection of management information from interior and exterior sources, and organizing, processing, storing and transferring management information to executive positions which need it can be realize by establishing a management information system. Management information systems facilitate the management process providing concise, current, retrosrective, intelligible, and accurate information. Management information systems help to remove uncertainty, minimize the loss of time and effort, and maximize user satisfaction by supporting decision making, planning and supervising.
