- The “Observatorio SIC” bulletin is presented as an example of the innovation and initiative promoted by the ESADE Information & Knowledge Service. Since its launch in June 2005, it has developed into a valuable and indispensable reference for the academic and research community, at the same time becoming the business information service’s main marketing feature. The origin and background of the initiative are described along with the risks, challenges and opportunities involved in its launch. The bulletin’s general design, structure and selection of contents are outlined, examining its development over the last two years since its launch. Finally, the benefits that the “Observatorio SIC” entails for the organisation as well as for the information service itself are detailed, and the main challenges of the future are considered.
