- In the development del scientific work, the investigator habitually is forced to manage a great amount of informative material of diverse types. This documentary material normally tends to grow of uncontrolled form, so that the use of manual methods to manage all this information becomes inefficient. Traditionally, the investigators have resorted to diverse computer science tools, mainly database managers of general intention, to store and to manage this information, although lately they have appeared new programs specialized designed specifically for this task: the personal bibliographical managers.
