  • This article study the definition of "Library 2.0" and describes implications for all types of libraries inside and outside Spain, with special attention to Seville University library. The paper focusses on the practice of librarianship, specifically addressing how Web 2.0 technologies such as synchronous messaging and streaming media, blogs, wikis, social networks, tagging, RSS feeds, and mashups are changing how libraries provide access to their collections and user support for that access.
