- The Learning Objects are documents of character teaching, are reusable, allowing interoperability with others platforms and ensure durability and accessibility of content in any format. These in turn are described through a metadata model called LOM (Learning Object Metadata), which has a structure of 9 fields that let you find and retrieve the contents of an object. Although objects are described through LOM, there is also a standard that enables the design, packaging and distribution of content of the learning objects in virtual environments, known as SCORM.
