- Some outcome of the Project Digital Archive of Venetian Music (ADM) is presented. The project was led in cooperation by National Marciana Library (Venice), National and University Library (Turin) and "Discoteca di Stato" (Italian National Sound Archive, Rome). It concerns an on-line integrated service for the search, localization and access to musical documents, by browsing catalog's records, digital images of musical scores, audio materials. Originally thought in order to virtually get at unity collections of Venetian manuscript musical sources owned by the two libraries (Antonio Vivaldi, Alessandro e Benedetto Marcello), and in order to enable to listen to related audio materials owned by the Discoteca", it could now lose its geographic connotation in case it had to comprise new partners or new musical manuscript collections. Project objectives and features are described, as from feasibility study. Fundamental stages and some critical points, that at the same time were opportunities to investigate theoretical and application's matters, are illustrated, e.g. UNIMARC for musical documents, or administrative metadata connected with digital objects. Logical and physical components of an ADM site are listed, together with technological platforms, standards, and data base records' amount.
