- The theoretical part of this thesis consists of the description of technical standards and the legal conditions for the publishing of e-theses in Austria. The practical part analyses the state of the art of e-thesis publication in Austria. Interviews by telephone and email were the applied methods. Two international e-theses portals were examined. Together with the results of the interviews a good practice modell for all Austrian universities was developed.
