- ANAI (Associazione Nazionale Archivistica Italiana), an association that gathers more than 1300 Italian archivists, set on foot a group of work entrusted of focusing on a procedure of professional certification. The group has been working for about two years at a definition of the necessary qualification, focusing the work on the study of the professional competences and of the formative route. This stage of the study, that is ending just in these days, will be followed by a serie of meetings with the most authoritative professionals in national archivistic activity, and will be presented - with the fitting documents - to the national conference of the Association, planned for next May.
