- In Italy few are the archives produced by women movements, but in the second half of the 21st century there are five types of recurring producers of feminine documental collections: great connection of the sources, different supports, importance assigned to language, etc. The 40 UDI archives are briefly described (starting from 1944), and is highlighted the importance of the archives for the future. The history, the research and service activity of the Documental centre of Modena, 1996, are analyzed at lenght, since it is a cultural association founded to create a place for the conservation and the usage of the sources of the history of the women in our age, at a local and regional level.
