  • The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze how the application of a problem-based learning flipped classroom learning model to improve the critical thinking skills of class X students in one of the public high schools in Karawang Regency. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach with Quasi-experimental research methods and one group pre-test post-test design research design. The instrument used in this study was a multiple-choice test with a total of 15 questions. The sampling technique in this study used simple random sampling with a total of 36 students. The results showed that the application of a problem-based learning-based learning flipped classroom model has a positive influence on improving students' critical thinking skills in aspects 1) Elementary Clarification, 2) Basic Support, 3) Inference, 4) Advance Clarifications, 5) Strategies and Tactics on simple harmonic motion materials with a normalized gain score of 0.67 with a moderate category. As well as getting a percentage score of 95% with an excellent category on the student response questionnaire in the application of a problem-based learning-based flipped classroom learning model.
