  • A wave lecture program has been developed that is oriented towards improving the quality of millennial prospective physics teachers in 21st century based on inquiry activities, involving traditional musical instruments and technological devices based on computer or smartphone. This lecture program aims to improve science process skills (SPS), cognitive levels, and make a creative products for prospective physics teacher students. This study uses a mixed method research with an embedded experimental model design which uses the quantitative approach as the main data and qualitative data as support. The data collection instruments consisted of SPS test questions, cognitive test questions, questionnaires, learning implementation sheets, logbooks, creative product assessment rubrics, interview guides, and the researchers themselves analyzed descriptively and inferential statistics. Based on the results of the study, it is concluded that the lecture design has the characteristics of implementing multilevel inquiry activities, using traditional musical instruments and computer-smartphone technology devices through four phases and seven stages, namely training, organizing, investigation / exploration, presentation, evaluation, guidance / strengthening, and products creative. The lecture program has a significant impact in improving SPS and cognitive. This lecture program can encourage the formation of creative ideas for prospective physics teacher students even though only 3 out of 16 musical instrument products meet all the criteria (5 indicators) of specified creative products. Furthermore, students gave positive responses to the lecture program because it was in accordance with student learning expectations as prospective physics teachers today.
