  • In addition to the government's efforts to prevent a surge in Covid-19 cases, there is a lot of controversy that arises in the community related to the Covid-19 vaccine. The widespread spread of fake news has caused people's perceptions or views to become negative which has an impact on the rejection of covid-19 vaccination. The purpose of the study was to analyze the relationship between perception and the behavior of the community receiving the Covid-19 vaccination through a health belief model theory approach in Banaran Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency. The method of this study is quantitative by using the cross sectional design. The population in this study was the people of Banaran Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency totaling 2,220 people. The sampling technique uses Purposive Sampling with a sample of 100 respondents. The research instrument uses a questionnaire. The data were analyzed using the Chi Square test. The chi-square test results obtained p-value results = 0.000 < α (0.05) then it means that rejecting H0 means that there is a relationship between perceptions and the behavior of the community receiving the Covid-19 vaccination in Banaran Village, Pulung District, Ponorogo Regency. In conclusion, there is a relationship between perception and the behavior of people receiving covid-19 vaccination through the health belief model theory approach. If people's perceptions regarding the Covid-19 vaccine are positive, people's behavior will also be better. Keywords: Perception, Behavior, Covid-19 Vaccination, Covid-19, Health Belief Model
