  • Domestic state-owned banks have become targets for declining banking performance due to the Covid-19 outbreak. The net profit of the majority of state-owned banks in terms of profitability in 2020 experienced a significant decline. Then in 2021 the association of state-owned banks (Himbara) recorded a positive performance, although it experienced some declines compared to 2019. The financial performance measurement tool with ratio analysis has a weakness that is it does not take into account the cost of capital in generating profits, so profits do not reflect the value creation that has been carried out by the company. So in this study using the EVA, MVA, FVA method with the object of research on state-owned banking companies namely BNI, BRI and Bank Mandiri with the 2018-2019 period. The results of the study show that the EVA value of BNI, BRI and Bank Mandiri from 2018 to 2021 shows a positive value, except for BNI in 2020 which shows a negative number. The MVA value at BRI for four years of research and at Bank Mandiri in 2018 & 2019 shows a positive value. While the MVA value at BNI for four consecutive years and at Bank Mandiri in 2020-2021 is negative. The FVA value at BNI in 2018, at BRI in 2018, 2019 and 2021 and at Bank Mandiri in 2018-2019 shows a positive number and the rest shows a negative number. A positive value in that year means the company is able to create added value for the company and vice versa.
