  • Currently, the media in Indonesia is not only used as a means of spreading news but also as a sara inspiration and education for the community. The media is considered capable of conveying the message contained in it so that it can be accepted by many people. One of them is the Madiun Radar Inspiration Rubric in this inspiration rubric dominated by information about women who have achievements and of course also have beautiful faces. In the selection of the content of this rubric, of course, it is considered why the content of the rubric is only filled with women who excel and have a beautiful face, so that it can attract readers, especially the majority of readers of KOran Jawa Pos Radar Madiun are adults. This of course makes commodification occur in the rubric of the java post newspaper by making women the object of the news that is published. To find out the form of commodification that occurred in the inspiration rubric of jawa pos radar madiun, this research was analyzed through the theory of commodification of Vincent Moscow. By using qualitative descriptive research methods. The findings show that the commodification that occurs in the inspiration rubric is based on moscow theory. The first is the commodification of content or content by attracting consumers through inspirational news in the inspiration rubric. The second is the commodification of the audience in this case Radar Madiun collaborates with companies or institutions by turning advetorial news into inspirational news so that it can outwit its readers. These findings show that the form of commodification according to Vincent Moscow still occurs in the inspirational rubric with the change in the use value into the exchange rate.
