- ABSTRAK NURSING CARE IN DIABETES MELLITUS PATIENTS WITH NURSING PROBLEMS SKIN INTEGRITY DISORDERS In the Ahmad Dahlan Room, Muhammadiyah Hospital Ponorogo By : NANDYS VIANKI 18613167 Diabetes Mellitus is a chronic metabolic disease that occurs as a result of the body's inability to produce the hormone insulin, resulting in an increase in blood sugar levels, known as hyperglycemia. Nursing care for patients with diabetes mellitus with nursing problems with skin integrity disorders in the Ahmad Dahlan room at RSU Muhammadiyah Ponorogo was carried out for 3 days in February 2021. The method used was the nursing process. The results of the study found that the patient complained of wounds that did not heal, the body felt weak, vision was slightly blurred, often tingling and high blood glucose levels. Nursing actions taken to overcome nursing problems are wound care. After nursing actions for 3 days, the results of skin integrity increase. The results of the evaluation showed impaired skin integrity associated with resolved peripheral neuropathy. Nursing care is expected to be able to provide motivation and knowledge in an effort to treat patient wounds to prevent nursing problems with skin integrity disorders.
