- This study discusses the factors of income and religiosity and their influences toward the interest of muzakki in paying professional zakat through Amil Zakat Institution located in Ponorogo. The Amil Zakat Infaq and Sodaqoh Institution (LAZISMU) Ponorogo was chosen as the research object. This research is based on the reluctance of the society to pay professional zakat, especially through the amil zakat institution. he factors of income and religiosity were chosen in this study, as they both are considered important factors in influencing the interest of muzakki in paying professional zakat. This study uses a quantitative method with a population that consists of muzakkis who pay their zakat in one of LAZISMU Ponorogo branches. Since the population is small, the researchers used all muzakkis as the sample. The data obtained were analyzed by using the application of Structural Equation Model (SEM) with the Partial Least Square (PLS) program. The results of this study indicate that income and religiosity factors have a positive influence on the interest in paying professional zakat through the Amil Zakat Institution in Ponorogo Regency.
