  • "SKPP (PARTICIPATORY SUPERVISORY CADRE SCHOOL) AS BAWASLU'S EFFORT IN INCREASING THE PARTICIPATORY SUPERVISION OF THE YOUNGER GENERATION IN THE ELECTIONS" This study aims to find out how the role of SKPP as bawaslu's effort in increasing participatory supervision of the younger generation in the elections in Ponorogo, in increasing the participation of the younger generation in conducting election supervision. This research uses qualitative research methods with a descriptive approach, which is a research that intends to understand the phenomenon of what the research subject experiences. The research informants consisted of the Ponorogo Regency Bawaslu Party and the Ponorogo Regency SKPP Participants. Data sources come from primary data and secondary data. The results of this study show that the participatory supervision carried out by Bawaslu, Ponorogo Regency, is appropriate. Bawaslu emphasized that participatory supervision is considered to minimize the number of violations that occur in elections. Through the Participatory Supervisory Cadre School (SKPP) aimed at the younger generation at the level of novice voters with the aim of increasing community participation in supervising elections. From these activities, it is hoped that the public will realize that elections are a normal activity, so that people are not fanatical, thereby reducing the risk of violations in elections. The output of such activities is to create a participatory supervisory cadre of youth generations or novice voters. In order to socialize the supervisory function carried out by Bawaslu, and become a driving force against the creation of democratic and conducive elections. With the SKPP carried out by Bawaslu Ponorogo for 3 times, it can be seen that the participants carried out their duties and functions as supervisory cadres in socializing related to elections and participatory supervision in the community.
