- ABSTRACT This Research aims to test factors affecting dividend payout ratio within the manufacture companies in BEI (Bursa Efek Indonesia) 2005 – 2007. This study adopted research by Prihantoro (2003) and Nasrul (2004) with some modification. The object of the research was Manufacture Companies listed in Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI), Indonesia. The population of the research was obtained from Indonesia Capital Market Directory (ICMD) in Universitas Diponegoro, Semarang. The sample of the research was manufactures companies listed in BEI during period 2005 – 2007. This study used purposive sampling technique. The data analysis was conducted using regression double linear with SPSS program. The result of this study demonstrated that that ROE, dan DER significantly affecting DPR (dividend payout ratio). This study also found that CR (current ratio), ROI (return on investment), dan Cash Position not significantly affecting DPR.
