- ABSTRACT The aim of this study was determine the effect of feeding ration with coffee seed hull as crude fiber sources processed by amoniation fermentation technology on protein utility in Friesian Holstein cows. The experimental materials consist of fiftheen Friesian Holstein cows in third lactation, research used completely randomized design (CRD) with 3 treatments and 5 replications. The treatments were 40% roughage (40% Pennisetum purpureum + 0% coffee seed hull amofer) + 60% concentrate, T1 : 40% roughage (40% Pennisetum purpureum + 10% coffee seed hull amofer) + 60% concentrate and T2 : 40% roughage (40% Pennisetum purpureum + 20% coffee seed hull amofer) + 60% concentrate. The results of this research showed that there were not effect of the treatments to dry matter intake (DMI), milk protein level and milk production. There influenced of treatments to protein intake, dry matter organic matter and protein digestibility. Keywords : The amofer coffee seed hull, digestibility, milk protein and milk production
