  • The development of micro enterprises (MEs) proved to be a major stimulus of the sector which directly influence the growth of the national economy with 98% total number of existing business are on this section. The majority of enterpreneurs in Indonesia are in the category of micro enterprise section as many as 57,1 million of the total existing businesses. However one of the obstacles in the development of micro-enterprises are the limitations of the able to buy equipment to produce due lack of financial capacity, budget constraints, lack of skills and managerial skills held for operating the business. Therefore, one of the effforts made to overcome these problems is the provision of catering equipment assistance from the department of Cooperatives and SMEs as supporting the operation and development of production of small and medium micro enterprises The purpose of this study is to see the difference in the group of micro business before and after the catering equipment assistance from the Department of Cooperatives and SMEs in terms of value of production, turnover, profits and spending. The object of research the group of micro business who get help from the catering assistance from Department of Cooperatives and SMEs in Wonodri Village, District of South Semarang, Semarang as many as 70 Micro Enterpreneurs. Types of data collected are primary data and secondary data. Data analysis methods include validity, reliability test, and Wilcoxon sign rank test statistic. Based on Wilcoxon sign rank test for the production value variable obtained -p value of 0.000 (0.000 < 0.5),which means there are significant differences in the variables of production value between before and after getting help from the catering equipment Cooperatives and SMEs, with and increase of 5,73%. Sign rank test calculations on sales turnover variable obtained –p values of (0.000 <0.5), which means there are significant differences in the variable sales turnover between before and after getting assistance catering equipment with an increase of 5.87%. Sign rank test calculations on the profit variable obtained the –p values by (0.000<0.5), which means there are significant differences in the variable profit between before and after getting assistance catering equipment with an increase of 14.04%. Rank test calculations sign on business expensess variables –p values obtained by (0.000<0.5), which means there are significant differences in the variables business expensess between before and after getting assistance catering equipment with an increase of 3.40%
