  • PT. Indonesia Steel Tube Works (PT.ISTW) is a foreign capital company (PMA) which is a joint venture between Indonesia and Japan. PT. ISTW are manufacturers of steel pipes. In 2014 the performance of employees of PT. ISTW decreased from previous years. This research was conducted by analyzing the factors that influence employee performance with variable transformational leadership style, employee motivation and discipline of variable working as an intervening variable. This research by developing a theoretical model by proposing sauatu five hypotheses to be tested using Structural Equation Model (SEM) as an analytical tool. The respondents of this study were all employees of PT. ISTW totaling 116 people. The results of data processing by using SEM to have met the theoretical model Godnessof Fit as follows: Value Chi Square = 190.335; df = 183; p = 5%; Probability = 0.340; GFI = 0.869; AGFI = 0.834; TLI = 0.995; CFI = 0.996; RMSEA = 0.019. The processing results can be stated that the model is feasible to use. The results of this study indicate that the performance of employees can ditinggkatkan with discipline and transformational leadership style. Perception of transformational leadership style was good and high work discipline that will affect the performance of employees of PT. ISTW.
