- Thisstudyaimedto examinetheeffectofinterestrates,thelevelofprofitsharingmudaraba deposits, liquidity, inflationandthesizeofthecompany onthegrowthofmudaraba depositsatIslamic banking. DatatakenfromstatisticalreportsofIslamicbankingatBankIndonesiafromJanuary2009toMay. 2012.The methodusedisthe methodofmultiple linearregression.Usingthis methodalongwiththe underlyingassumptions.The resultsshowedthattherateofprofitsharing mudarabadepositsand the sizeofthecompany'spositiveinfluence,and interest rates negativelyaffect mudharabah1 month deposit growth of Islamic banks. While the level of liquidity and inflation showed no effect on mudaraba1monthdepositgrowthofIslamicbanks.Theimplicationsofthisstudy should further improvethemanagementofIslamicbanksperformanceandwork togetherwiththeIndonesianUlema Councilto providewiderdisseminationoftheprohibitionofbank interest,so that customersofIslamic banks, are not interestedwithhighinterest ratesofferedbyconventionalbanks.Futurestudiesare expectedto usethetimeseriesdata that islonger,addanotherindependent variable,researching fundingthirdpartiesotherthan mudaraba deposits.
