- Alat uji kompresor torak satu tingkat ini merupakan suatu mesin yang berfungsi untuk menaikkan tekanan fluida gas ( udara ). Modifikasi dilakukan untuk memperbesar kapasitas tangki,mempermudah pembacaan alat ukur, dan memperkuat rangka. Modifikasi yang dilakukan antara lain memodifikasi bentuk rangka dan menggunakan bahan yang lebih kuat dari sebelumnya, mengganti kapasitas tangki kompresor sebesar 163,16 liter, melakukan pengujian komponen - komponen supaya saat pengujian dapat diperoleh peforma mesin yang baik. Tangki kompresor kapasitas 163,16 liter, mampu menampung udara pada tekanan maksimal sebesar 6 bar (daya kompresor 1/4 HP), dengan putaran kompresor sebesar 474 rpm. Dari hasil pengujian kinerja alat uji kompresor torak satu tingkat ini diperoleh hasil bahwa massa aktual udara kompresor sebesar 0.173 kg, volume aktual udara kompresor sebesar 0.0005 m3/s, efisiensi volumetric udara kompresor tertinggi 0,8931, efisiensi energi 38,1 persen dan untuk daya maksimal kompresor yang dibutuhkan dalam melakukan pengujian adalah 95 watt. Kata kunci:Modifikasi, Tangki kompresor, massa actual, efisiensi volumetric, Single stage piston compressor test bed is an equipment that used to increase the pressureofgas(air).Modification was done to enlarge the capacity of the receiver tank, to casier the gauge reading, and strengthen the chasis.The aspects modifiated are structure compressor tank include modifying the order form and use of materials that are stronger than before, replace the compressor tank capacity of 163,16 liters, establish testing the component to obtaine a good performance in engine operation. This equipment can be used to test singlestage piston compressor performance. Compressor tank capacity of 163,16 liters, is able to accommodate a maximum pressure of 6 bar (1/4 HP compressor power), with a rotation of 474 rpm. The results of performance test of the reciprocating compressor i.e the actual mass of air compressor 0.173 kg, the actual volume of air the compressor at 0.0005m3/s, The highest volumetric efficiency of air compressor 0,8931, efficience of energy 38,1 percent and for the maximum power required is 95 watts.
