  • The title of this research is “User Perception of archives service in Kantor Arsip Daerah Pemerintah Kabupaten Grobogan”. The purpose of this research is to know the user perception of archives service in Kantor Arsip Daerah Pemerintah Kabupaten Grobogan. The research method in this research using qualitative method. The data was collected through interview, observation and documentation. Key informant in this research amounted to three people who are archive user and two achivist in Kantor Arsip Daerah Pemerintah Kabupaten Grobogan. This research uses the service quality factors tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and emphaty. The conclusion has been reseached from factors such as the tangibles of the parking lot, beauty, and the neatness of the building is good, of factor such as the reliability of user comfort has also been good, as well as factor assurance and emphaty also have good. Differ by a factors responsiveness, official have not provided the best service so factor responsiveness of the weakness of the clerk’s office service record in Kantor Arsip Daerah Pemerintah Kabupaten Grobogan, and can provide a bad image to the office filling Kantor Arsip Daerah Pemerintah Kabupaten Grobogan if not solved
