  • The analysis in this study aimed at first, knowing how the pattern of relationships education spending and health spending on labor productivity in the period 2007- 2013. Second, knowing the economic activity of education spending and years of schooling (education status). Third, knowing the economic activity of health spending and life expectancy (health status). Latter is knowing of economic activity of years of schooling, life expectancy and productivity of labor. This study uses secondary data, i.e. education spending data in 2007-2013, health spending data in 2007-2013, Years of schooling data in 2007-2013, life expectancy data in 2007- 2013, GDP Regional 2007-2013, the number of people who worked in 2007-2013 at 35 Regency/City in Central Java Province. The method used in this research is panel data with fixed effect approach (Fixed Effect Model) and the dummy region. This research was conducted with the principle of Chain-Rule approach based on economic growth theory. The results showed there is significant positive effect between education spending on education status (years of schooling) and significant positive effect between health spending on health status (life expectancy). As well as education status (years of schooling) and health status (life expectancy) had a significant positive effect on labor productivity. Thus, the pattern of the relationship between spending and health spending on labor productivity follows the principle of Chain-Rule.
