- This study aims to implement the fuzzy time series Chyn Ruey Tsaur method to forecast nationwide car sales. This study used the sales data of 15 types of cars have sold in Indonesia issued by GAIKINDO from 2000 until 2011. Applications created can be used to predict the next 1 year. If the actual data in predictable as input, the application can predict for next year again. Prediction error rate is calculated using the standard deviation error (SDE). A comparison of the SDE method Chyn Ruey Tsaur with SDE obtained from SR Singh is known that the method of the SDE method Chyn Ruey Tsaur is smaller.
