- ABSTRACT TPA (landfill) is one of fundamental needs in managing solid waste issue. Recently, the condition of TPA Jomboran in Klaten exceeds the loading capacity, so a new site is necessary to load and treat the solid waste. Nevertheless, the presence of TPA always cause some negative effect upon the environment and community, a study of landfill site selection through three screening stage is needed that is regional screening, elimination screening and with the Le Grand parameters and SNI 03-3241-1994. Besides, it needs SWOT analysis to identify the strength, weakness, opportunity and threat of each candidate of landfill site. According to feasible study, the selected site is Troketon, Pedan, with Le Grand scoring values 13 (score of very fine site class) and pollution rate of disposal, site is almost certainly accepted (scoring -7,5). While, for scoring based on SNI 03-3241-1994 is 514 including feasible class with environmental control. Keywords : Site Selection, Landfill, Klaten, Le Grand and SNI 03-3241-1994
