- This paper is related to eco-linguistic critical review, an interdiciplinary field of study that places the language and the community of speakers as a living organism systematically in a life with other organisms. The main issues discussed in this paper is the unharmonious relationship between ecology (ecosystem) and linguistic (study of language) due to the disharmony of ecosystem and language used by human beings in their daily activities towards their environment . This paper also focussed on the metaphores appear in the sentences or clause of Bimaness Language and the alternative structure given by green grammar’s theory. This phenomenon has been experienced by the Bimanese as the object of this research. As the community who posseses unique custom and cultural life with the background of agricultural business, they suppose to maintain their local cultural wisdom and commit to preserving their ecosystem accordingly. But in fact, they are failed to do so. The result of data analysis shows that several lexicons still exist in Bimanese’s metaphores and specific expressions related to specific lexicon in agriculture’s field.
