- Background : The government is expecting a significant fall in the mortality of mothers to achieve the 2015 MDG’s goals. The aim : To know and obtain the data related to mothers mortality for gynecology oncology patients treated in HCU/ICU in Dr. Karyadi hospital Semarang from February 2010 – February 2012 and describe the distribution of factors that are believed to influence the number of mothers mortality. Method : This is a descriptive research using secondary data from medical record in HCU/ICU in Dr. Karyadi hospital Semarang Result : We receive the sample of 47 patients. The dead patients reached 12 people (25,5%) which ten of them died because of sepsis. Based on the age category, the highest number is for age over 50 years old reaching 19 people (40,4%). Based on the illness diagnose the highest number is due to Ca ovarium reaching 60 people (29,8%). Based on the indications the highest number of case is post optimal debulking with sepsis up to 9 people (19,15%). Based on the use of ventilator, the highest number of dead patients is 8 people. Five patients who died after being treated with ventilator up to 2 days is 5 people. For the days of treatment, the highest number of dead patients is 7 people who were treated for 2 days. The most type of payment is personal payment, which is from 25 people (53,2%). And the most of APACHE score is 10 – 14, which is from 20 people (42,5%). Conclusion : Based on the record obtained from February 2010 to February 2012 there were 47 cases of gynecology oncology in HCU ICU of Dr. Karyadi hospital Semarang. From that number there was 12 people (25,53%) dying after treatment. Keyword : The number of mothers mortality, patients of gynecology oncology in HCU/ICU in Dr. Karyadi hospital Semarang. BAB I
