- Background: Glaucoma is second largest cause of blindness after cataract, and blindness which caused by glaucoma can not be cured. But the blindness which caused by glaucoma can be prevented by early diagnose and accurate treatment. Physician as primary health care level, has important role in early detection of glaucoma. This study aimed to determine what factors are associated with physician’s attitude and behavior toward glaucoma. Method: This research was an analytical observational study with cross sectional approaching. The samples were physicians, who fullfilled inclusion. Data collection was done by filling out questionnaire. Data was analyzed by Spearman, Fisher test using SPSS ver 17 for Windows with p <0.05 Result: The results showed no significant relationship between mass media, experience of treating glaucoma, length of work as physician, knowledge and the physician’s attitude towards glaucoma because of p= 0,099, p= 0,092, p=1,000, p= 0,777. In this study, physician’s knowledge and attitude significantly related to physician’s behavior towards glaucoma, because p = 0.001 and p=0,021.
