- This study aims to know and to analize the influence between the firm size, asset structure, profitability, and sales growth to capital structure of manufacture companies which listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange in 2008-2010 period. This study also reviews the variables that are used because there are differences in the results of previous researches . This research uses quantitative approach. It uses secondary data from ICMD (Indonesian Capital Market Directory) and has registered in Indonesian Stock Exchange with period three years from 2008 to 2010. The method of the research is purposive sampling which define as a sample of taking method which take an object by certain criterias. The amount of samples which require to the criteria are 18 sectors from manufacture company in Indonesian Stock Exchange. This result of research shows that parcially the influencial variabel to capital structure are firm size and profitability where as the variable of asset structure and sales growth are not influential to capital structure. Simultatily, the firm size, asset structure, profitability and sales growth are influencial to capital structure. The influence is 0,116 or 11,6%. The other 88.4% influenced by another factors outside the research.
