- Background: Couples of reproductive age ( CRA)-mothers is one of the targets of National Family Planning Program achieving for small happy and prosperous family. Until now, management of nutritional anemia focused on pregnancy , while the other groups like couples of reproductive age not managed yet. Objective; The aims of the study is to know the level of hemoglobin in couple of reproductive age based on status obstetrics Methods: The descriptive cross-sectional research was studied to all of reproductive age mothers who lived in two villages of Grobogan municipal, Central Java province, and East Lombok Municipal, West Nusa Tenggara. Samples were taken from mothers who her child has been involved in the other study, the correlation between Zn and development, in the same area. Hemoglobin examination were conducted by spectrophotometer, questionnaire for status of obstetric Result and conclusion From 172 CRA-mothers : 2,3% have Hb level < 8 gr/dl , 37,1% < 11 gr/dl and 64,6% < 12 g/dl . Over all, the study indicated that Hb level more better in mother who following Family Planning (especially hormonal), giving breastfeeding, few abortions.
