- The Indonesian people nowadays are undertake a transition, transformation of authority bureaucracy in to mutual bureaucracy. Transition is the time when democratized civil society induces opportunities of freedom, openness, and wider space of political participation of the people without any exception. People mobilization towards civil society affects needs for law enforcement and appreciation to moral values in democratization. Taoism has become important to analyzed since it contain precision of human life in line with good order in which human is expected to have balance of life, pure original, common affection or heart, and simplicity. Results of this research bring some important findings of Taoism goodness teaching in connection with civil society, such as (1) living in a harmony in the middle of live plurality, (2) original purity within democracy atmosphere, (3) living in proper manner, whether it is culturally or politically.
