- Since the beginning of its historicity. Pancasila plays important position and function in the existence of Indonesia nation-state, Le. as its worldview, state philosophical foundation, and national ideology. By the passing of time. Pancasila was distorted in some interpretations which brings many consequences and implications up to marginal limits. Those distortions are caused by epistemological confusions in understanding Pancasila. The solve this problem we need an epistemological revitalization of Pancasila, which means that scientific studies on Pancasila must be developed by education institutions in Indonesia
