  • To establish wireless network for sending information can approximate from data rate, coverage area, network topology, network size, routing protocol and consumption power. Wireless technology divide into two groups to solve this problem, they are : WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) and WPAN (Wireless Personal Area Network). WPAN is wireless nework that have low data rate, low consumption power and in boundery coverage are. Zigbee is kind of WPAN groups that uses at sensor and control for home application. In this final project, modeling WPAN with zigbee using network simulator 2 in mesh topology. The values of performance QoS (Quality of Service) wireless network uses three parameters such as : throughput, delay and packet loss. With routing protocol uses to increases performance of WPAN network like increasing throughput, decreasing delay and also packet loss ratio. Keywords: WPAN, QoS (Quality of Services), zigbee, NS-2
