  • Indonesia is one of the biggest countries which produce coconuts in the world. With plantation area reach of 3,76 million Ha that almost spread in Indonesia. All of those regions produce coconuts reach 14 billion coconuts. Until now, Indonesian farmers only focused to produce copra around 28% and only that part can be exported, while coconut dust and fiber are the most part from coconut around 35% only used for traditional handmade likes brooms, doormats, ropes, and another tools of house more over be a waste. And coconut dust and fiber fusion can be made as technical things such as building insulator and car roof insulator. Thermal conductivity experiment, form coconut dust and fiber fusion to cylinder shape. Then, compare the value of coconut dust and fiber fusion with material that knows thermal conductivity value. The result show if coconut dusts and fiber fusion are included insulator. The experiment show thermal conductivity value is reverse with pressure of material making. The higher pressure will reduce thermal conductivity value. Keywords: waste, coconut fiber and dust fusion, and thermal conductivity
