- Dehumidifier and regenerator are important parts in liquid desiccant air conditioning system. In those devices air are conditioned to obtained the wanted condition. Dehumidification process in the dehumidifier causing decrease of desiccant concentration reasoned by effect of water vapour absorption from inlet air. Concentrated of liquid desiccant occur in the regenerator as regeneration process and raising the temperature and the air humidity this were caused by the evaporation of liquid desiccant. The simulation using computational fluid dynamic (CFD) obtained that the output air temperature were raised as high as the increasing of the desiccant velocity, air temperature, air velocity and desiccant temperature. For the output air humidity ratio will raise as the increasing desicant velocity, air temperature, air velocity, desiccant temperature, and also the input air humidity ratio because of the high evaporation (humidification) rate.
